There are seasons in life when you don’t need another goal, or challenge, or someone telling you to wake up earlier, work harder, think more positively, get organized, drink more water, manifest harder, or become the “best version of yourself.” Sometimes? You just need somewhere soft to land. That is exactly why I created Rooted & Radiant: A Gentle Self-Esteem & Mindset Reset to Help You Feel Steady Again
What if you’re not meant to push through this season?
We talk so much about growth, and listen, if you know anything about me, it’s that I LOVE growth! I’ve spent years teaching people just like you how to work on their self-esteem, mindset, confidence, and self-worth, and talking about the incredible things that can happen when we finally begin believing in ourselves, but I also believe there are times when growth looks different.
Sometimes growth isn’t about pushing harder, setting another goal, or becoming the “next version” of yourself. Sometimes growth simply looks like slowing down, admitting when you’re overwhelmed, setting a boundary without writing a five-paragraph explanation for it. Growth can also look like resting without feeling like you have to earn it first, and simply realizing that you don't need to become someone else, you simply just need to come back to yourself in the most organic and simplistic way possible. This folks is exactly where Rooted & Radiant begins.
First, we get rooted.
Think about a tree. We notice the beautiful parts first, the leaves, the blossoms, the branches reaching toward the sunshine, but none of that exists without the roots. The roots aren’t flashy. Nobody applauds them. Most of the time, nobody even sees them, but they are what keep the tree standing when the wind comes. I think we need roots, too! Our roots are the things that remind us who we are when life gets noisy. Our roots include: our values, our boundaries, our self-trust, our ability to recognize what we need, when we need it, and our belief that our worth does not disappear because we happen to be struggling. When those things feel shaky, it can be incredibly difficult to feel confident. So instead of beginning with, “How can I be better?” Rooted & Radiant invites you to begin with asking yourself: “What do I need to feel steady again?” Trust and believe that this is a very different question.
And then, we become radiant.
Radiance isn’t perfection. It isn’t having everything figured out. It isn’t being confident every second of every day, and it certainly isn’t pretending everything is wonderful when it isn’t. Radiance is what begins to happen when you feel safe enough to be yourself again. The signs of radiance are clear: it’s when you find yourself laughing a little louder, trusting in yourself a little more, speaking to yourself with more kindness and intention, remembering the things that bring you joy, recognizing your own needs, taking up space without immediately apologizing for it, and looking in the mirror and seeing a whole human being, not a list of things that need improvement. That kind of confidence doesn’t need to be loud and flashy; it's quiet, steady, deliberate, and rooted.
What does it mean to become Rooted & Radiant?
Here’s the thing: your version of being rooted and radiant doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Being rooted is about finding that steadiness within yourself. Maybe getting rooted means learning to trust yourself again, or slowing down after spending far too long in survival mode; maybe it’s about setting healthy boundaries, and rediscovering pieces of yourself that have gotten buried underneath responsibilities, expectations, relationships, caregiving, work, or simply life, and maybe, just maybe, it’s creating a little more space to simply breathe.
Your roots are personal. They are the things that hold you steady when everything around you feels a little shaky, and then there’s the radiant part. Your radiance gets to be completely your own, too! Perhaps your radiance looks like confidence. Maybe it is laughing more, or speaking up more, or trying new things, or feeling comfortable saying no (I know this is something I personally have to work on)! Maybe your radiance is doing things simply because they make you happy, and being able to look in the mirror and recognize yourself again, and maybe, right now, radiance for you is simply feeling a little lighter than you did yesterday.
The beauty is that there is no timeline for any of it! There’s no finish line. No gold star for getting there quickly, and there certainly isn’t one perfect version of what a rooted and radiant person looks like, because this isn't about becoming someone new. It's about becoming more connected to the person who has been there all along, YOU! I honestly think that this kind of growth isn't talked about enough. You're not becoming someone better or more productive; you're simply creating deeper roots, a steadier sense of self, and enough room to let your own light shine through. What a gift to give to yourself.
So, I created something for you. 💗
All of this got me thinking about how many of us could use a little help finding our way back to those roots. Not another challenge or program you have to keep up with, and definitely not another thing sitting on your to-do list making you feel guilty because you haven't finished it. Just something gentle that you can pick up when you need it. So I created Rooted & Radiant: A Gentle Self-Esteem & Mindset Reset to Help You Feel Steady Again. Think of it as a little collection of tools for your own Rooted & Radiant journey.
Inside, you’ll find grounding reflections, self-trust prompts, journaling and self-awareness practices, and gentle reminders to slow down, check in, and reconnect with yourself. Work through the whole thing at once if that feels good, or spend an entire week on one question. The beauty of this self-led course is that you can pick it up and put it down whenever you feel like it, and come back three months later, because there is absolutely no falling behind here. Your journey is imperfectly perfect, just the way it is. The course is simply something I created to walk alongside you for a little bit, while you strengthen your roots and embrace your radiance again.
Do you want to be able to cultivate your own Rooted & Radiant journey, completely FREE? I know there are people in our PSEW community who are tired. People carrying families, jobs, relationships, caregiving responsibilities, grief, transitions, uncertainty, and approximately 47 tabs open in their brains at any given moment. Investing in yourself shouldn’t always have to mean spending money. Sometimes you just need someone to open the door and say: Hey friend, come in, sit down, rest in here for a little while. Consider this my little corner of the internet doing exactly that. You most definitely don’t have to prove that you’re struggling enough to deserve support; you don’t have to wait until you’re completely burnt out, and you definitely don’t need to transform into a brand-new person because I hate to break it to you, but you are already worthy. Maybe you just need a few tools to help you find your footing again. So allow yourself to choose to get rooted again, and allow yourself to reconnect with yourself amazing, wonderful self again, and heck, give yourself permission to radiate as your most authentic and truest self again!
Rooted & Radiant: A Gentle Self-Esteem & Mindset Reset to Help You Feel Steady Again is my gift to you! Your financial investment? $0. This course is completely FREE. There is one investment I hope you’ll make, though, and that is an investment in yourself. Your time, your thoughts, your healing, your self-trust, your growth, your joy, your radiance! Investing in yourself doesn’t always require money. Sometimes it’s simply choosing to give yourself the same time, patience, kindness, and care that you so freely give to everyone else.
